Mobile Wound Care
Advanced Healing with Ultramist® Technology
Sterling Health Solutions brings hospital-grade wound care directly to your home. Our certified wound care specialists use FDA-cleared Ultramist® low-frequency ultrasound therapy to accelerate healing for chronic and acute wounds throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
What is Ultramist® Therapy?
A revolutionary FDA-cleared approach to wound healing
Ultramist® is an FDA-cleared, low-frequency ultrasound therapy system that promotes wound healing through a process called acoustic streaming. Unlike traditional ultrasound devices, Ultramist® delivers therapeutic energy through a fine saline mist that is gently applied to the wound surface without any direct contact.
The low-frequency ultrasound waves create mechanical energy that stimulates the wound bed at the cellular level. This energy promotes angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels), fibroblast proliferation, and collagen synthesis — all critical components of the natural wound healing process. The acoustic streaming effect also helps reduce bacterial biofilm, which is one of the most common barriers to wound closure.
Each Ultramist® treatment session typically lasts between 5 and 20 minutes, depending on the wound size. The therapy is completely painless and non-invasive, making it an ideal option for patients who may have difficulty tolerating traditional wound debridement methods. Most patients begin to see measurable improvement within the first few treatment sessions.
